Writing about your travels during lockdowns?

I wasn't quite sure where to post this on the forum as I couldn't see a ' distractions from the pandemic' category. But here is as good as anywhere. Is anyone else missing travel ? As a travel addict of many years standing , during the recent lockdowns I resorted to writing about some of the people. places and events I have encountered while travelling. Result = my first book! Published in March 2021 by Beachy Books. It's called ' Travel Mementos: Personal Stories about Faraway Places' and has received some great reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. Is anyone else doing the same?

Hi there! I am missing travel dreadfully but quite frankly have felt terrified to go abroad during this pandemic, even when restrictions have been lifted. However, I'm plucking up the courage to go to Portugal shortly for my niece's wedding! I can't wait to feel the rays and soak up the sun. Where are you planning to go on your travels? (When you feel ready)
