Yay! Cracked it!

I found that if I had logged into S/S, then left to go to another site, It was impossible get back in again.

But now, I have sussed that the forum doesn’t like to be ‘Bookmarked’ on my Mac. So now, when I log out, I just Google and then have no trouble getting in.

I was chatting to some people at our book circle last week and we seemed to be in 2 distinct camps,. 1: those who had never even heard of NCIS and Big Bang Theory and 2: The other half, who were aware of, and liked, both and also liked "Black Books".
Did you watch Easterwatch? I enjoyed it very much.
I sat in the garden for a couple of hours this afternoon - now that really is something! It was still and pleasantly warm and it was lovely just to soak it all up. 🙂

What are black books? Are they dystopian?

I'm not sure, but I think Ziva may have left the series for the same reason Kate did. Too many 16 hour days of shooting episodes,
And I don't like Pennys new haircut! I guess that it was just to show Caley Cuoco's new status as married.

Isn't it odd how the episodes jump about. Sometimes, as you said, a missed episode pops up, and I then think "Ooh, so that's what happened!" Yet to figure out why Ziva left! Not sure where Vance has gone this week either!
Same with Big Bang Theory. Although Penny's change of hair-do helps me catch on quicker. I love reading the Lorre comments at the end - although sometimes they squidge up the screen and I can't read them!

I'm slowly catching up on the original series of NCIS. There is occasionally an episode that I hadn't seen before. Strange that it's on, on three different channels. And that's not including the 'Plus 1' channels.

I like both of those too. Just started watching NCIS New Orleans and enjoying the cultural insights.

There just doesn't seem to be an awful lot on that interests me these days. I do like to watch NCIS and The Big Bang Theory.

I surf the programme guide for what's on overnight and often find something interesting to record. I also record a lot of the Yesterday channel as I especially like history and science programmes.

NOW TV only has a couple of SKY channels that I can't get. But they are really good ones. As I sort of said earlier. The jury is still out on that one. I used to have SKY as well. But cancelled, because of so many mind numbing repeats. I do have a Freesat box which also records, using the SKY dish. If you have two dish inputs. You can record two channels simultaneously whilst watching a third!
My TV has built in Freeview. Down in London, it tuned into 147 channels. Up here in Scotland, it only gets about 34. 😥

I guess I am wondering what can be done with one that I don't know about!
I declined the offer of a Kindle for Christmas as I am happy using the library and dont really want to buy ebooks.
I am a sucker for real books as I like the feel and look of them.
I have freeview and a recording device so that I can record everything I want and play back without the adverts. I used to have Sky but I only miss it occasionally when someone tells me about something particularly good on there.

Yes indeed. To be perfectly truthful. I can't even recall exactly how I did it! In fact, it's rather weird. But whilst logged on, I went to the S/S 'Home' page. Created a Google bookmark. This took me to the S/S on Google. I just click on the top forum listing. This gets me into the forum, already logged on!
