Yorkshire ripper

What a world we live in - The Yorkshire ripper Peter Sutcliffe is moaning in prison that he's losing his sight because he won't be able to watch Mrs Browns Boys. I say lock him up and throw away the key! What do you think?

How come he's got access to a TV in the first place!!

In 1976 I started work at Yorkshire Bank. Their head office was based in Leeds, Chapeltown to be precise, one of Sutcliffe's stalking grounds. Occasionally I would have to spend a week at head office, training in new banking procedures, new technology etc. I was in Leeds a couple of times during Sutcliffe's reign of terror. The Bank warned us that as soon as we had finished training, we were to go straight to the hotel, and not venture out again until the following morning. The fear was palpable.

I'm inclined to agree with you. I lived in Bradford at the time he was on his rampage, and it was very scary for all women. Also no man was free from being a suspect, and in fact the police interviewed my ex husband, which really made me question if he could possibly be guilty as he was out until 2 and 3 am on a regular basis.
It was an horrible time, and God knows how the families of the victims coped...you never get over something like that.
He may have mental health issues he must have to have done what he did, but he knew it was wrong and yet he has been treated better than members of the armed forces who have been maimed serving their country.
