Christmas shopping – Online or High Street?

Black Friday originated in America, and is the Friday after Thanksgiving Day, often seen as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season, and is now regarded as one of the biggest shopping days of the year.

In recent years, “Black Friday” has become a permanent fixture on the calendar in the run up to Christmas in the UK as well. This year, Black Friday is on November 27th 2015, and already retailers are advertising their forthcoming pre-Christmas deals both online and in the high street.

Online purchases have become increasingly popular over the years, and this year, internet sales over the 24-hour period are expected to surpass £1bn for the first time in UK history.

So where do you prefer to do your Christmas shopping? Do you like to touch before you buy?  Or do you prefer the ease of home delivery? Or do you like to do a bit of both?
