Has Theresa May’s power evaporated?

When we asked you back in April ‘Is now the right time to hold a snap General Election?’ 740 Silversurfers voted and 76% felt the time was right.

Wind the clock forward 7 weeks, and the country have voted and the optimism that was felt by Mrs May has fizzled.  We are now left with a hung parliament, which throws up a number of questions.

We now don’t seem to have a strong and stable government that was on the agenda, as there is no parliamentary majority.

So what now?  Where does this leave us? The aim was to be armed and ready for ‘Brexit Britain’ but are we now ‘basket case Britain’? We find ourselves now in times of uncertainty and confusion. What are your views?
