Would you like a White Christmas this year?

Forecasters predict it’s likely to be ‘cold and unsettled with wintry showers’ over the festive period, but there’s always a flurry of punters willing to stick a few bob on Christmas Day snow.

The UK’s last official white Christmas was in 2010, when snow was widespread across Northern Ireland, Scotland, parts of Wales, the Midlands, the north east and far south west England.

The whitest year on record was 1976, when it snowed for an incredible 20 out of 31 days in December.

How many ‘White Christmas’s have you experienced? Do you enjoy snow at Christmas, or is it a hindrance?
