Should Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stick to tradition?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are preparing for their wedding this weekend at Windsor Castle.

Their whirlwind romance has captured the hearts and minds of people all over the world, and many are looking forward to watching this happy occasion with family and friends.

The two are being hailed as a thoroughly modern couple; Meghan is confident and outspoken with an already established career as an actress.

Prince Harry is a passionate advocate for mental health and his initiative for veterans, the Invictus Games.

The two are bringing their fresh perspective to their wedding, too. They have broken from longstanding traditions within the Royal Family to make room for their own ideas.

Instead of serving the traditional fruit cake, the couple has chosen a lemon and elderflower cake, and will also have a gospel choir during their ceremony.

Many of the details of the wedding are yet to be revealed, but insiders say the couple is determined to do the wedding their way rather than based on old tradition.

What do you think – does this wedding represent a welcome change or should they honour and to stick to tradition?  Share your views at Speakers Corner
