iPhone 7

Well done Apple you have delivered another winning product!

I have recently got the new iPhone 7 having previously had an iPhone 6 for a couple of years. The 7 is useful for me as I read emails a lot on the phone and at 58 years of age need larger font to be able to read properly so it’s perfect for this purpose! The design is beautiful as we now expect from Apple products with a sleek black finish and its slimmer than previous models. All the other functions I expect on iPhones are there with a load of Apps and a crystal clear phone face.

The battery life seems to have been extended significantly as I am only charging it once a day and use it a lot.

The most significant difference in functionality though is the camera. Having just been on a quick trip abroad and taken a lot of snaps I was astonished at the clarity of the pictures. The new iPhone 7 actually has 2 cameras on it, a 12-megapixel with a 28mm f1.8 lens and by its side another 12 megapixel camera with a 56mm f2.8 lens. The second lens is really a telephoto lens and helps to prevent distortion. It has been said that this combination provides the customer with the best phone camera yet and from my photos I would completely agree.

Many Silversurfers members are keen photographers and this is an ideal phone to have with you for that “instant snap” or as I have been on holiday taking all sorts of photos.

Well done Apple you have delivered another winning product!
