Seven Seas Splendor™ – the most luxurious address at sea

The final elegant touches are currently being put together on the newest luxury cruise ship in the market, Seven Seas Splendor™, ahead of her christening in Miami on 21 February.

Furniture is being placed, $5 million worth of art from more than 200 artists is being hung and over 500 chandeliers are being carefully installed to finish off each beautiful space on board this all-suite, all-balcony ship. Regent Seven Seas Cruises® is creating a masterpiece, boldly described as “luxury perfected”.

Those lucky enough to sail on her will enjoy a choice of three speciality restaurants, all included in the price, as well as many other gourmet open-dining options throughout the ship. Choices include a Asian-fusion restaurant, where guests are greeted by a striking floor-to-ceiling dragon sculpture, a fine French bistro, a mouth-watering steakhouse and an authentic Italian with an open kitchen, as well as Compass Rose, the main dining room with a never-ending combination of dishes. After dinner, three delightful lounges will host all manner of entertainment whilst guests sip on new signature cocktails and other premium beverages, also included in the fare, and a two-tier theatre hosts Broadway style productions.

Each suite onboard Seven Seas Splendor™ has its own private balcony to watch the world go by, as well as a walk-in wardrobe and separate sitting area, where guests can choose to have their in-suite dining service served course-by-course by their butler if they so wish. The 24-hour room service and mini-bar, which is well-stocked with each guest’s personal choices well ahead of time, is also included in the fare. Sumptuous and soft linens adorn each comfortable bed.

Onboard Seven Seas Splendor™ is also the Regent Suite, one of only two that exist in the world. Here Regent Seven Seas Cruises® has spared no expense to kit out the 4,443 square feet of palatial elegance. A $200,000 Hästens Vividus custom handmade bed has been crafted over nine weeks by bed artisans in Sweden for the ultimate night’s sleep. The en-suite bathroom has been transformed into an in-suite spa retreat with unlimited free spa treatments, personal sauna and steam room. The suite is circled by a 1,300 square foot wrap around balcony showcasing 270-degree views.

And if guests can tear themselves away from their plush suites, they will be spoilt for choice for how to spend their days ashore. All cruises with Regent Seven Seas Cruises include an eclectic mix of free unlimited shore excursions in every port, and cruises during Seven Seas Splendor’s inaugural season feature 65 new and exclusive trips designed and curated just for these special guests. They will discover the haunts of locals in Malaga on a tour of the most romantic and delicious tapas spots, explore the lasting influence of the Bonaparte family in Ajaccio or tour through the Ibizan countryside and white-walled villages on an e-bike – this is a just a small example of the free shore excursions exclusive to Seven Seas Splendor™.

Most inaugural sailings sold out quickly, but there are limited suites still available throughout 2020 and into 2021. To find out more about Seven Seas Splendor or to receive a brochure, click here.
