Egypt is a spectacular destination to go for your holiday with a huge variety to do from ancient monuments and the home of the Pyramids and Sphinx in Cairo which are some of the world’s most amazing ancient moments. Top of the holiday sightseeing list for many visitors to Egypt is the capital of Cairo. Although Egypt is going through a difficult time in some ways it’s good to visit now (Summer 2012) without all the crowds. The city exudes atmosphere from the superbly preserved treasures of the Cairo Museum to the remarkable Pyramids of Giza. Safaris are the best way to explore the desert. The choices are many; from full day jeep and quad bike excursions for dune bashing and sand surfing, to more gentle sunrise or sunset camel treks. There’s often a chance to sip tea with the nomads, gather round the campfire for a Bedouin dinner or just relax under the open skies for some desert stargazing.
