Home to an abundance of wildlife and flora and fauna, Mahe is home to the Morne Seychellois National Park, which offers some of the best island views on the summit of Morne Blanc trail, a great morning or afternoon excursion. The Seychelles second largest island, Praslin, is where you’ll find the Vallee de Mai UNESCO World Heritage site, home of the rare and protected Coco de Mer palm, as well as a number of Seychellois animals. Spend the afternoon here and book yourself a private tour and be led through the winding pathways and towering palms.

As well as exploring land, there’s plenty to discover on the water, or beneath it, with brilliant opportunities for diving and snorkelling. If you fancy getting out for the day, a great way to see different islands is with a yacht or boat charter, where with the help of a skipper, you can travel between the islands, stop for some snorkelling, lunch and see more of the stunning island scenery.
