Where’s trending next summer with Headwater?
It seems like it was just yesterday that we were celebrating the arrival of 2017 and all too quickly the year is coming to an end. But with the launch of their new 2018-19 brochure, Headwater is now looking forward to spring and summer 2018 when we can all jump back on our bikes and put on our walking boots to explore the wonders of Europe and beyond.
But where should we go? Headwater has put together a list of destinations that are trending for next year from their new brochure.
The young Roald Dahl who spent his summer holidays here from 1920 to 1932, said: “…on a tranquil summer’s day, you cannot imagine the sensation of absolute peace and beauty that surrounds you.” With its gentle coastline, hilly little roads through forests, deserted beaches and quaint fjordside towns, the Oslofjord region of Norway is a cyclist’s paradise. On this new 6-night trip you’ll pedal back in time to a more simple life. All breakfasts and 2 evening meals are included.
With its vast, haunting landscapes, on this new 8-night trip you’ll discover a mystical land of shimmering loughs, bogs and stunning lakes. You’ll also spend two nights on Inishbofin Island, home to less than 200 people, a beautiful place. All breakfasts and 4 evening meals are included. Also available as a cycling holiday.
Uncover the history of whisky whilst pedalling along the beautiful Moray Coast and along the salmon-rich River Spey, stopping at famous distilleries en route. This new 7-night trip includes all breakfasts.
A 10-night trip on foot along the stunning St Francis Way and the Olive Trail, discovering Italy’s ‘Green Heart’ and well-preserved towns. Also available as 6 and 8-night trips. Includes all breakfasts and 6 evening meals.
Also NEW for 2018 are a range of single-centre, multi-activity holidays where Headwater provide a wide range of comprehensive self-guided walking and cycling routes, usually at level 1, as well as a complimentary bike for each party member’s exclusive use for the duration of their stay. These holidays are currently offered in France’s Brittany, Dordogne and Spain’s Catalunya and are an ideal choice for multi-generational families looking to holiday together.
