Safari holiday to Kenya

Hi, I'm looking for a female travel companion to go on safari with. I can go any time. No ties. Probably a 10 day trip but flexible. I live in Suffolk. I am 64 but fit. Going alone just wouldn't be the same.

Hi BongiM, just to let you know if you haven't already discovered, but
the post you are replying to was posted in 2017 so a bit late now, hope
that you do get to go to Kenya a lovely place and great game viewing
in the Massai Mara, so good luck on this site, all best wishes, Terry.

Hi Lesley!
Precisely what I am looking for as well. A companion for a safari trip, but not until atleast a year about due to work. I am 62 and fit as well. Could be a bit of a drag to travel on ones own when nearly all participants are couples, even though I have met many nice couples on earlier travels. I guess you are looking for a trip already during this winter? I am planning a trip to Cornwall next spring. I live in Stockholm, Sweden.

Thank you for responding. I am hoping to go next September or October to Kenya. Would that be possible for you?

Hi LesleyG8, I don't know if you still read messages on this site after
so long. Hope you managed to find someone to travel with on the
Safari in Kenya. I have been there a few times but not for a while. I
have a suggestion for you if you are thinking of going to Africa again.
It is called over landing and I have been on 5 trips to date. It a group
camping trip on a truck with up to 28 others. It's a great way to see
all the big game parks. Check out Absolute Africa or Oasis overland
and check out the trip videos it will give you an insight into what life
is like its also a safe way to travel and both sexes go, there is no upper age limit as long as you can carry your own backpack your in.
Good luck, and keep traveling through Africa there are so many
beautiful countries to see and so much to do.take care, Terry.

Leslie: I wanted to make a suggestion regarding your interest in a safari and finding a traveling companion. I work with an orphanage in Tanzania and we have people from all over the world, volunteer for a week or two and then go on a safari in Tanzania. Since opening in 2012, we have had volunteers from 36 countries. It costs you $150 week to stay at our volunteer house and that includes your lodging and all your meals. We have an arrangement with a safari company that offers safari's to Serengeti and other areas for very reasonable prices. Good thing about it is that we always have volunteers that go on safari's so you always have someone to go with you. Check out the website, www.neemavillage.org. You will absolutely love it.
