Do you believe what manufacturers say on packaging? For the most part I do believe what they say. I assumed it would be the truth! As they say . . . . ignorance is bliss!ViewDate:

Is the balance right between toddlers social interaction and technology engagement?Technology is part of our evolution. So long as these devices aren't used as 'baby sitters' I don't think they are such a bad thing. Children deserve their parents time and attention; it's the parents always having their mobile or tablet in their hand that causes me most concern; especially when they are not engaging with their children!ViewDate:

Should Handstands and Cartwheels be banned in school playgrounds? Are these restictions really about health & safety or could be the fear of establishments being sued for negligence? It's a shame because it stops children having fun and adventures. I say this as a Mother & Grandmother who has always erred on the side of caution!ViewDate:

Does courtesy on the road still exist? In this day and age most of us are in a rush to get from A to B possibly because we lead much busier lives than previous generations. i.e. dropping children at school then hurrying to get to work and trying to cram something or other in to our every waking minute! We should all take time to slow down and chill. :)ViewDate:

Would you welcome your GP surgery being opened 7 days a week?We are in the 21st centuary where many people work 24/7 shifts so why not GP's? If it means more people attending hospitals then one would hope if necessary more staff will be employed to cover this, leading to less unemployment. Many GP's work part-time already and I should imagine there are more GP's out there that would be happy to work part-time that would enable them to fit in a very important job that they trained for, that would fit in with other commitments.ViewDate:

Do you iron your bed sheets?I couldn't bear to sleep in a bed with unironed sheets; I love the feelig of clean laundered sheets. I wish I could put unironed sheets on the bed, but I just can't do it! :)ViewDate:

Is 65 too old to become a mother again? At nearly 60 I am no where near as agile or able to do the things I did with my Grandaughter as I did with her brother 8 years before, although we still have great fun. :) As to having a child at 65, that is just plain selfish. It took me a few years to concieve our first child and can remember the pain/sadness I felt not being able to fall pregnant so I sympathise for people that have not been able to have a family. It seems though these elderly woman chose to have a career over family; their child will not have Grandparents, chances are the Mother won't be around much beyond the childs teens . . . what sort of future will their children have? No parents, possibly no siblings . . . . . . very sad.ViewDate:

Does making new friends get easier or more difficult as you get older?I am nearly 60 (a young nearly 60, I would like to think :) now single female and I work full time. I agree with Penst there doesn't seem to be anything available in the evenings; do they assume that everyone over 50 is retired?I consider myself fortunate because I have a loving family and both married & singles friends and am invited to meals out, BBQ's etc. so I need never be lonely. That said I would also like to meet other people that have similar interests to me and have access to meetings/clubs weekends as well as evenings when possible. In answer to the question, being older I am more confident at talking to people I've never met before and making friends, but because there aren't so many places available outside of working hours to meet them, it's not so easy.ViewDate:

Do you take notice of dietary and medical advice regarding healthy eating?I am a firm believer in everything in moderation. Not that I always practice that! I think when a product is recommended it's a good idea to find out who wass funding the trials, for how long etc. and then use your own judement to decide whether it's more about promotion and can it really live up to it's claims and vice, versa.ViewDate:

How will you spend your private pension lump sum?I shall use it to get some odd jobs done around the home and give some to my sons and have a meal out with my family. :)
