Should parents have the option not to vaccinate their children?Parents, for the most part, have the best interest of their children at heart and the State should not interfere. When a vaccine results in a problem, it is by then too late. My younger sibling was damaged, and henceforth no family member (3 generations) has been vaccinated since – and with the message being passed on, will I hope, never be again. Revealed as a result of this case, is that families with allergic reactive complaints including asthma, eczema, hayfever and migraine are more likely at risk.ViewDate:

Is going digital isolating elderly people? At 81 advancing digital technology in many forms has been part of my life for many years. As an aid, and as exciting as all advances have been, I am still as cautious about its use as I have ever been and privacy the most valued. There is also a profound issue in an increasingly digital age related to the elderly, many of whom live on limited incomes. Those who do not have the wherewithal of the cost implication of digitalisation usage are left behind. I do not use a mobile phone other than for emergencies, particularly in public places. Being exposed to others inane chatter is irritating and intrusive, and when out and about with friends the taking of a phone call or sending and receiving messages, is to my mind, the height of old-fashioned discourtesy.ViewDate:

Should parents have the option not to vaccinate their children?Do parents have a right to decide vaccination, in my view they most certainly do. In 1947, a perfectly health baby boy was inoculated and within days developed a rash that turned into a life-long skin disease for which there was and is no known cure. From that fateful day forward his family have never allowed another child to be vaccinated, three generations, and never will. Children that should perhaps be considered venerable, those from families with known allergic histories: eczema, asthma, hay-fever and migraine.
