BonnieMJO showcase imageYes. Haven’t been able to do this for several years but I’ve lost about 20 pounds since Christmas and the resulting improvements in my asthma and blood pressure meant I could give it a go…….and I succeeded! Really chuffed❣️ViewDate:

BonnieMJO showcase imageI love the way they arrive in a group. A “ charm” is a good collective noun for them.ViewDate:

BonnieMJO showcase imageWe get dozens of birds in the garden. We’re on the edge of a village so they call in here first! When I put the first feed of the day out just as it is getting light at least 25 blackbirds appear within seconds. Sometimes there are more of them……42 is the most we’ve managed to count.ViewDate:

Do you rake up your leaves?I left them 3 years ago and the next year all I had was moss instead of grass and clover. The lawn leaves are now composted but beds next to walls are left with a good covering as is our small wooded area as we have a healthy hedgehog population that makes use of them.ViewDate:

BonnieMJO showcase imageWe moved to East Cumbria about 3 years ago and love heading over to the Lakes at less busy times. Wonderful walk although dodgy knees made it a slow one for me. Well worth the effort though. -
