More ways to make the most of your retirement – including the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew

Do MORE with Boundless

From Boundless: the club for retired and working public sector and civil service workers.

Winter is a magical time at the world-famous Kew Gardens in London – and Civil Service and public sector membership club Boundless is offering unlimited complimentary admission for retired members and their grandchildren.

The offer is part of a new selection of days out and discounts from Boundless, worth up to £245*, making it easy for people to make more of their retirement and spend quality time with family and friends.

With half-term coming up in February, Kew Gardens is the perfect escape. Especially when Boundless membership includes free entry to the 300-acre site for members and up to five children – plus 50% off for one adult guest.

This season, the highlight will be Kew’s legendary Orchid Festival, which runs 5 February to 6 March in the Princess of Wales Conservatory. Entry is included with admission to the Gardens, but a time slot must be booked in advance.

Other winter highlights, which don’t require a booking, include more than 50,000 living plants across Kew’s UNESCO World Heritage site, from a vast Arboretum to an Alpine rock garden.

There’s also a new Family Kitchen & Shop, which features an interactive food laboratory where youngsters can discover the wonders of nature and origins of their favourite foods.

Darren Milton at Boundless said: “Kew Gardens is magical at this time of year and we’re thrilled to include it our range of offers to help members make even more of their spare time.

“The past 24 months have been especially tough for our retired members. We want to give them the chance to reconnect and make new memories with the people that matter most to them.”

Kew Gardens is just one of the club’s exciting benefits available to members after they join – Boundless have many ways for members and their families to get MORE from their free time.

Thanks to Dine, there are impressive discounts – such as 50% off and 241 on mains – for all members at thousands of restaurants and coffee shops nationwide.

This is in addition to an impressive roster of activities, getaways, holidays, group activities and savings included in the overall Boundless membership deal.

Membership is open to all public sector employees and civil servants, working and retired, for just £32 a year.
