I believe we will all be so much more sane and less frightened when wall to wall coverage of this pandemic ceases. For myself, I'm utterly fed up with meaningless statistics, talking heads spouting meaningless words and mantras and an endless stream of 'experts,' parading their opinions.

`I also believe such an excess of expert opinion, especially when no two can agree, is spreading more than enough confusion.

What am I looking forward to? A return to a more normal media.

I was 72 and my husband 75 when our first granddaughter was born late last July and they live60 miles way and not being able to see her other than on a screen has been really painful. She is a beautiful bundle of love and I can’t wait to give her a really big hug. My son is very good about contacting us on Facebook so she doesn’t forget anybody but it really isn’t the same. We’ve missed owed of her firsts like teeth, crawling and steps as they seem to grow so quickly.
