Which is your favourite fictional TV couple?

Over the years we have been blessed with so many fictional married couples on our television screens to keep us amused and entertained.

From the tenuous relationship between Basil and Cybil Fawlty who can’t live with and can’t live without each other to the almost perfect love between Gavin & Stacey, and many more in between.

Is there one particular couple who touches your heart or amuses you? If you had to choose just one in our Poll, who would be your favourite?

Feel free to add any other fictional couples that you enjoy watching in the comments below.

I voted for Margo & Jerry Leadbetter of the list given, but my favourite couple is Ben & Ria Parkinson from "Butterflies" - so touching, so devoted, so afraid of saying so .....

I have voted for my favourite couple from the ones above but my true favourites {though not really a couple, would be Fathers Ted and Dougal.

My favourite is not among the above - I would choose Jean and Lionel Hardcastle from "As Time Goes By". The simply sublime pairing of Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer! Wonderful!
