Cheap eats and recipe swapsSince the author doesn't want to share any of his recipes, I will try my luck. My latest discovery is an easy Alfredo sauce(https://sweetandsavorymeals.com/homemade-alfredo-sauce/): Ingredients: 1. 1/2 cup unsalted butter 2. 1 cup heavy cream 3. 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 4. 2 garlic cloves, minced 5. Salt and pepper to taste 6. Optional: Fresh chopped parsley for garnish Instructions: 1. In a medium-sized saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. 2. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, stirring occasionally. 3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well to combine with the melted butter and garlic. Bring the mixture to a simmer. 4. Reduce the heat to low and gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese while continuously stirring. Stir until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth. 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remember, the Parmesan cheese is already salty, so be cautious while adding salt. 6. Continue to cook the sauce on low heat for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld together. 7. Remove the sauce from heat. If it's too thick, you can add a little more cream to thin it out. 8. Serve the Alfredo sauce over your favorite pasta or use it as a sauce for other dishes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired.ViewDate:

Crispy crumble topping - recipe suggestions please?Certainly! I can help you with a recipe for a crunchy crumble topping. Here's a simple and delicious recipe you can try: Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup rolled oats 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes Instructions: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, rolled oats, granulated sugar, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt. Mix well until all the dry ingredients are evenly combined. Add the cold butter cubes to the bowl. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the dry ingredients. Continue mixing until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. You should have pea-sized crumbles throughout. Spread your desired fruit filling, such as apple, peach, or berry, in a baking dish. Make sure the dish is large enough to hold the fruit and the crumble topping. Evenly sprinkle the crumble topping over the fruit filling, covering it completely. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the crumble topping turns golden brown and crispy. Once done, remove the crumble from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream, if desired. This recipe should give you a delicious and crunchy crumble topping. Make sure to let it cool slightly before serving to allow it to firm up and maintain its crunchiness. Enjoy your homemade crumble!ViewDate:

Looking for a Vegan Cheese Sauce recipeHere's a quick and easy recipe for a vegan cheese sauce: Ingredients: 1. 1 cup raw cashews, soaked in water for at least 2 hours 2. 1/4 cup nutritional yeast 3. 2 tablespoons lemon juice 4. 1 clove garlic, minced 5. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 6. 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard 7. 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika 8. 1 cup vegetable broth or water 9. Salt and pepper to taste Instructions: 1. Drain the soaked cashews and rinse them under cold water. 2. In a blender or food processor, combine the cashews, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, minced garlic, onion powder, dijon mustard, smoked paprika, and vegetable broth (or water). 3. Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. 4. If the sauce seems too thick, you can add a little more vegetable broth or water to achieve the desired consistency. 5. Taste the sauce and season with salt and pepper according to your preference. Adjust the other seasonings if needed. 6. Transfer the sauce to a small saucepan and heat it over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until warmed through. 7. Once heated, the sauce is ready to be used in your favorite dishes. Pour it over pasta, use it as a dip for vegetables, or incorporate it into any recipe that calls for cheese sauce.
