Hands

Hands

The first hands I ever knew, once saved me from a fall.
They marked my growing every year, upon the kitchen wall.

They’d comfort me when I was I’ll, hand help to make me better.
They taught me how to hold a pen when I would write a letter

They tucked me in my bed at night, with my favourite cover
The first hands I ever new, belong to my Mother
