Jealousy

Jealousy

Have you seen the green-eyed monster;  is he clawing at your back?

Don’t you know that love engenders trust; is there something that you lack?

If you need the chains to keep her close, you just should set her free.

For if true love, she’ll never leave  – for love’s her gravity.

So let your butterfly go off to visit other flowers.

She’ll return, with much to say, and talk with you for hours.

If you keep her in a cave, denying other men,

some day she’ll leave and not return to be with you again.

Just fill her life with romance and trust her with your life.

Then, even though she’ll have male friends, she just might be your wife.
