Just Know I’m Always Here

Although Christmas is a time of joy and celebration, it can also be an emotional time, a time to remember our loved ones who have passed. A time of quiet reflection.  This poem is for anybody who has lost a loved one, to bring comfort and warmth.❤️

Just Know I’m Always Here

When your sorrow overwhelms you
And your hearts filled with despair
Just know that I’m beside you dear
Just look around, I’m always there

I’m there amongst the memories
Borne from photos on the wall
My footprints pressed into the rug
As you walk along the hall

I’m there in every fibre
In every crevice of our home
A home we built together
Please just know you’re not alone

Take a look at all the photos
All the memories that we made
Spend time looking through them
If my face begins to fade

It’s OK to feel sad my love
And to sometimes shed a tear
But know I’m right beside you dear
I will always be right here
