Will the cost of living crisis impact your Xmas spending budget?

With prices of everyday essentials rising at the fastest rate in 40 years, it has been reported that almost half of us say we are worse off financially now than in the run-up to Christmas 2021.

As the cost-of-living crisis continues to deepen it is no surprise that consumers may be much more careful about how and where to spend their money this Christmas.

Shopping early helps to spread the cost and shopping around, prioritising stores that offer early Christmas discounts and discounts on more popular products should all help to have less of an impact on your budget.

Simply buying less may well turn out to be the norm this Christmas.

Will you be buying fewer presents for your loved ones this Christmas? Or do you think Christmas is a time to spend, whatever the financial climate? Perhaps you believe that we all have too much and spending less is a sensible idea anyway? How will your budget be impacted this Christmas?
