Would you treat your pooch to a Friday night tipple?
Dog wine and liver cakes are among the delicacies on offer to hounds at the UK's first food hall for dogs.
The UK’s first food hall for dogs, opening this week, is aiming to offer its canine customers specialist treats such as liver cakes and ‘pupper-cinos’, dog wine and specialist beer.
Based in Bobby & Co department store in Bournemouth, Drool will feature a doggy tuck shop, a “lick n’ mix” station and a cake stand.
Stands are at dog height and the animals will be given the opportunity to choose their favourite treats using dedicated sniffing holes.
All the snacks have been specially designed by artisan dog bakeries from around the country, with dog wine and beer even available to take away.
A doggy food hall may sound like a bit of a lark but have things gone just a little too far? Do we need to be giving our dogs the likes of doggy wine, pupper-cinos and specialist beers? Are we pampering our dogs a tad too much or do you think it’s a bit of fun and harmless distraction is perhaps what we all need right now?
