“Did you see Lisa?”

If you did, you can ‘Thank Your Lucky Stars’ that American singer-songwriter, Dean Friedman, is about to embark on a 30-city UK Tour

“Did you see Lisa?”, “Yes, I saw Lisa.”, “Is that why you’re angry?”, “I wasn’t angry”. Those lyrics, from Dean Friedman’s smash hit, ‘Lucky Stars’ are ingrained in the memories of a generation of Baby Boomers, who came of age in the ‘70’s. Friedman, one of the pre-eminent songwriters of his generation, is about to embark on a 30+City UK concert tour that runs from April through August and includes stops in Liverpool, London, Birmingham, Belfast, Dublin, Cardiff, Bath, Sheffield, Rayleigh, Aberdeen, Glasgow and more, including an eight-day run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and winding up at Dean Friedman’s SongFest, a 2-day micro-music-festival, headlined by Chris Difford (Squeeze), and hosted by Friedman, held at the Draycote Hotel in Rugby, featuring some of the UK’s finest singer-songwriters.

Friedman, best known to UK and Ireland audiences for his string of chart hits, Lucky Stars, Lydia, Woman of Mine, McDonald’s Girl and “Well, Well,” Said the Rocking Chair’, will be performing solo, on guitar and keyboard, featuring songs from throughout his four-decade career, including familiar, radio hits and fan favorites, drawn from his nine studio albums.
