Not listed, but Don't is my favourite, not to be confused with Don't be Cruel.

"Don't Be Cruel" typifies the perfect rock and roll vocal vocal delivery in my mind.

His song "Don't" used to give me goosebumps, it is my favourite, Katty Lester sung that song too, also gave me goosebumps.

Love, love, love Elvis.

I cannot find ANY reference to Katy Lester having sung 'Don't'. Maybe your confusing her with someone else or another song?

You are quite right rainbowrod, it was Love Letters that Ketty Lester sung, Elvis sung that too.
Bit of 'brainfreeze' is allowed in my dotage.
I used to listen to Don't sung by Elvis when I was young, still listen to it now, in fact I think I will overdose on it in a minute.

His ballads were always my favourites, but 'Can't Help Falling In Love' is absolutely beautiful, especially as I picture him singing it in 'Blue Hawaii' and at that time I was completely in love with Elvis, with posters of him filling my bedroom walls.

In the 70s I had an Elvis album called ' Seperate Ways ' and on it was a song called ' Sentimental Me '...it was always a favourite of mine and was not released as a single..as far as I know...

My interest in the song 'Can't help falling in love is simply the melody which I think is particularly beautiful. The lyrics are just standard love song words...

I wasn't keen on a lot of his music but he did a version of "love me tender" with Linda Ronstadt, it was brilliant but it was never recorded.

Jailhouse Rock - brill. I think the first record to go straight to number 1 in the UK. Prefer his pre- army stuff. Vibrant & totally different than anything else around which is why so many slightly later "greats" were influenced by him especially the Beatles.

I expect we all have someone 'always in my mind' hence the relatively high vote.
My favourite Elvis song is not listed, it comes from a lesser known film which I saw a thousand years ago with my first boyfriend. Never forgotten.

Memories. My dad always told me he wanted it played at his funeral. I'd never heard it before just the "Cats"version. We played it for dad when he died in Jan. 2015 but it will be dads song forever for me.
