What food did you hate as a child but love to eat now?

Just the smell of some food can remind us of our childhood and no matter how old we are, the memory of our mum’s cooking, whether good or bad, will take us right back.

Meals, more often than not, were eaten together as a family and if you didn’t like what was on offer there was nowhere to hide and generally no alternative but to eat it.

What if there was something you really couldn’t stomach? Did you try and hide it? Were you made to eat it?

Here are some of the foods that our Silversurfers team disliked as children but will quite happily eat today. Vote in our poll and then let us know in the comments if there are any you would add.
