M&S make nice ones but have to say my wife makes the best. I always find shop ones are a bit dry and "dusty" probably as they need to store them for ages. Our home ones are moist an rich with flavour

Heston Blumenthal's at waitrose are just Christmas in your mouth, not traditional by any means and quite expensive but so worth it for a one off treat (especially if their on offer).

They all look and taste exactly the same to me, I usually buy a pack of 4, but only if they are ridiculously cheap, say 50p, otherwise I give them a miss.

I love mince pies with a nice cup of tea or coffee at night-fantastic and all part of Christmas. Both my mother and my wife bake their own mince pies and they are delicious. Only problem is once I start eating them I find it difficult to stop!-Gluttony is not good!
