Booths. Only 28 stores in the country with most in the North West, only 3 have ventured over to Yorkshire.

Lidl's Snowy Lodge Luxury Mince Pies are scrumptious. I had trouble getting them last year, so I've bought them already this year to make sure I don't miss out!

This is not a difficult one.

My wife Kathryn's butter pastry, over stuffed with mincemeat, and baked to a golden brown. Then, just a little sugar sprinkled on top.

She is quite ill now, but rises to the challenge of mince pies, Christmas Pud and a cake. But it now takes a couple of weeks to do it all, when once she would have done it in less than a day.

Thank you for your kind thoughts and words. It is appreciated.

Yes, my wife will be up and around over Christmas, I hope, and two grand kids and I will cook Christmas dinner for everyone.
