Good Housekeeping has everything readers could ever wish for in a magazine

Product review

Good Housekeeping has been a byword for trust and reliability for 100 years!

Millions read the Good Housekeeping Magazine and for good reason. Alongside tried and tested product reviews it offers readers a magazine packed with advice – from articles on fashion, real-life interviews, social issues, consumer advice, and home ideas to features such as fitness, health, cooking tips and so much more.

Good Housekeeping Magazine is a genuinely well-rounded publication, ideal for readers who are wanting a quality magazine with trusted information on current issues, products and advice. The Silversurfers team have been reviewing the most recent three editions and this is what we found.

What can the reader expect?

From just £18.50 for 6 months, every issue of GH magazine contains interesting, exclusive interviews with celebrities such as Monica Galetti (September edition), Dame Prue Leith (October edition). Alongside interviews, there are fascinating real-life stories, a financial advice section with features such as ‘ways to beat the cost-of-living crisis’, and useful consumer advice.

There are triple-tested recipes from the GH cookery team, good reads, fashion features and advice on where to shop for your particular body shape.

For those home stylists amongst us, there is practical advice for the home and garden.  And for all things health-related, GP Dr Sarah Jarvis and the GH medical experts are on hand to offer the latest news and ways we can improve and manage our well-being.

There is a trusted holiday section where the research has been done for us and to round it off GH magazine even has an extensive puzzle collection for engaging those ‘little grey cells’!

Our reviewers particularly liked the Talking Point, GH Beauty and Book Review sections and the food section gave us all some great inspiration!

In short, Good Housekeeping magazine has something for everyone and we can honestly say we have not found another magazine with so much stimulating and useful content. We cannot recommend it highly enough.
