winky's bio
I am just an ordinary man i left school at 14 years and started a butchering course after several years o moved on basically to earn more money to assist the family. The future of the Labour party!Well having participated on here with some very ok people i have had a complete change of opinions ,views with regards the Labour Party. I have relinquished all traces of support for them . The defining issue for myself is BREXIT, they have just totally ignored the wishes of the referendum and are acting on their own, to say that if they managed to win an election they will give the British people another vote. This is not democracy ,it's anarchy as far as i'm concerned. Corbin does not know where the north of England is, he is only caring for the younger voter's from the yuppy south who gave him this power. I contacted my own M.P. she voted with the whip and totally ignored the 70% of voters in my home town who put her in for another 5 years in a cushy job. I just believe once these people get elected they very, very soon forget who and why we put them in office. After supporting Labour for all my life it has now finished,i will never ever vote tory and as for the luny libs they to can take a flying toss so at 70+ years my voting days are over never again will they con me for my cross so to all out there HAVE A NICE DAY!ViewDate:

Online campaign to honour war deadThere is something in my life that intrigues me, especially about both world wars that this country has been hauled into. My main topic is the first world war 1914 -1918, i have been searching now for a year or so to try and trace my wife's mother's brother who enlisted in 1914 and went onto join " THE LANCASHIRE FUSILIERS " His name was Wilfred Clarke from Hindley Green Wigan, 16 years young and after finding a lot of his details was absolutely stunned, shocked ,and heartbroken to find that he went all the way thro the war until a cold evening in France on October 1918 was cruelly shot by a German sniper just 28 days before the end , and i can hear some of you saying wait on a minute i know or know of some one even being killed on November the 11th 1918, and i understand that. But i'm talking about our Wilfred just approaching his 21st b/day been involved with all the "named battles" come thro them only to fall at the near last " fence". As you can gather i could reminisce with you for many ,many pages more but, have to curtail it. as i stated earlier that was my wife's uncle never to know,, As for myself i have a cousin who was again shot in the back by another German sniper but this time in W.W.2 at the " Battle of Arnham" he was also young had just been married and were expecting his fiirst child whom he was never to see. He is mentioned in the battle for he and several others were trapped in ("" THE SCHOOL HOUSE ))" Just a couple of hundred yards from ARNHAM BRIDGE" they wer e there only 3/4 days for that was the time supposedly to take the bridge , but with no supplies ,food /ammo/ etc it became i fight to try and escape as it was his turn to come up from the school cellar turn sharp right jump a 2/3 wall and hopefully safety as he was jumping over he got shot in the back he was just over 23 age. So you see why i have great pride in our men who gave away their live's bravely/corageuously without a second thought , and to in my older years i look at our youth of today and ask this poignant """WAS IT WORTH IT" ?ViewDate:

Should the NHS stop funding IVF treatment? This is a very touchy subject i am married to TWIN WHO WAS GIVEN AWAY just after WW2 , after a great deal of discussion with my wife we have both come to the same verdict ,which ! IS I.V.F. treatment should be given on the N.H.S. up to the age of 35 no higher for older than that means that if succesful at 40 say when the child is in his/her 21 st the parents are going to be o.a.p.s. We would also suggest that after the first session the couple should contribute at the very least half the cost of further treatments.ViewDate:

Do you think Camilla should be crowned queen? To the Silversurfer's Editor, Dear sir /madam, are yooo going completely out of your mind ? what medication are yooo on???? To ask some one as my good self " has she won over my heart" There is a saying a Leopard cannot change its spots, Well that apply's still to that Strumpet! I have seen recently that Diana's boy's are talking about the loss they had to endure and one revelation William supposedly revealed was that OUR DIANA had to address that chimpanzee of a husband AS """ SIR """ if it is true how revolting is that? Can you imagine this scenario ((( excuse me SIR is it ok to have some nuptuals tonight ,that is not all then later saying "" thank you SIR """ I feel like vomiting at the very thought. You mention 10 years ago 7% should be queer/n sorry! now it is running at almost 50 % my reply is there is no accounting for people's stupidity , Whilst i'm on about these royals can some one out there explain to me " Why does the P.M. of the have to go and ask a doddery owd woman can she form a government ,? did we not lop a king's head off for interfering with our politics. Then all that malarkey of getting "dolled" up ,blokes with womens garter's getting the poor horse's pulling them hither and thither not on .ViewDate:

The future of the Labour party!Well as the saying goes " youv'e not only just shot yourself in foot"" Ok they have not got the majority of seats, but by heck they gave the tory's a run for their money and let'sface it the blue brigade lost a whole lot of seats plus Credibility too! The last crapy P.M. I have know was a tory sir alec douglas hulme, but on reflection he was just a tad better than the stupid bird we have at the moment. She sowed what she reapt also i have never come across some one who dither's and dallies like her ,then the final insult getting in bed with the D.U.P. How disgusting and deplorable of her to link up with such a VILE party has them ,my gut is wretching at the sheer hypocracy of the woman ,then again she is a tory ,which we all know are lower than a snakes belly. SO finally keep the momentum going Jeremy Corbyn long live Labour Party!!ViewDate:

Actually before 9-11 the meals, drink's, and most of all the cabin crew could not do enough for you ,nothing was too much for them after 9-11 obviously some things changed but overall we would only choose the renown ...........A.A.ViewDate:

Do you think Camilla should be crowned queen?Well how do you do ( cloudless13 At last or should i say my another member of our group who utterly despise the idea of HER ever being Queen!! As for old monkey ears he has gone well past his sell by date and should gently fade away into his garden to talk with his plants. I have been having a discussion with one of our contemporaries and we have come to an end as we cannot agree hey no problems that's democracy right! As for what they did together behind Diana's back was absolute Treachery. I mean they were seeing each other well before Diana emerged onto the scene. Then on his honeymoon he is at one of the boat YKW was at t he other end. NOT on. Then after Diana was assassinated by as we all know who they were , bang after that they can come into the daylight , but i will never accept those two being King&Queen as long as i live.ViewDate:

Do you think Camilla should be crowned queen? This is a reply for "jeanmark" Hello Jean how are today thank you for your reply as i did say of which you accepted it is only my view so i think there's a saying ( we will have to agree to disagree) Now then i have been reading almost all of our silversurfer's comments on this subject and there is one underlining theme i wish to challenge and that is for those who have remarked by saying "" Do you know Diana was not cleaner than clean"" Well i always speak from the heart and my reply to all who made that comment i put this to you i partially agree with you ( steady on don't get overexcited) What i do disagree with you is the facts yes she did become a bit tasty after everything was exposed ,what and why i was remarking on was that when she was just a slip of of a thing at the nursery this when old stiff ears hand in pocket guy started the courtship whilst doing that he was already knocking the old hag off then!!!! So as we all know he was doing it (her) before ,during ,and after that is what i cannot ,and will not stand of any future monarch . Though if one cares to read about our royal history you will find that it was rife back then ,nothing has changed today as some one keeps harping on about the 21st Century move on ! Garbage tradition is tradition and it should be upheld otherwise get shut of the whole lot ! So i believe again iv'e answered my critic's ,Have a nice day folks..ViewDate:

As for the clown charlie same again if he ever became king that again i would never accept him as my king! For me he is a utterly a bigger hypocrite than his fancy bit.Can you imagine a young bride to be marrying a prince who turns out to be a philandering nincompoop. ALL i ask people is to put yourself in Dianna's shoes on her honeymoon with you man ,yet at the other end of the ship is a woman waiting for her share, I mean come on get real it just would not happen would it! So ok if people want to bow and scrape, and fawn at their feet then obviously they cannot be saved there is nothing left for them is there? I know this opinion will not suit a lot of people will it ,but hey we are in a DEMOCRACY aren't WE!ViewDate:

My daughter emigrated to N.Z. were they have had this type of currency for ages. Not just one note but all the others, when we were in the good old USA what i really liked was the 1 dollar bill, i just wish we would lose the pound coin immediately , apart from the feel you do feel as if you have ( proper) money in your wallet, and to add the weight of pound coins drives me nuts. It make economic and practical sense to have your notes that are practically indestructible surely! Science FictionWell i guess a lot of my friends think i am a oddball why? Because i am utterly convinced that we that is the people of earth are being steered, guided , by aliens. If one asks oneself this simple question : How has man leapt so far by technical means in a very short space of time? One looks at how long have we inhabited this planet, and one looks at what we have been up until say the " Industrial Revolution" then in a blink of an eye's time we now have mobile's,smart tv's,internet, man on the moon car's,jet's, the list just goes on on,on and i would like to bet you that there are more ,plenty more gadgets things whatever you want to call them are just waiting to be "let out" so in 200 years man has gone from a bit of an idiot to what we have today , now for me i just cannot accept that it's evolution . When you watch all the sc-fi films where have they dreamt that from? Are 51 again why do the yanks not let us in? To wrap up i strongly convinced that somepeople on this planet have in thier possesion alien's or alien technology as for all our goodies they let them out slowly as not to worry ,frighten ,scare us so there you have it from the ODDBALL!ViewDate:

Do you think Camilla should be crowned queen?Well i am having to tread very carefully here as not to become censored! My views about a "female of the night" "A marriage wrecker" i could use a word starting with W and ending in E but i will keep it clean. She has never and will never win me over! I ask myself many, many, times just how has this person managed to hoodwink ,cajole, nay even win some people's favour ,especially for what she did in and in the way she did . That was to have an Adulterous afffair with the future King of England. It was done so in an open manner that was flagrant and outrageous that everyone with a modicum of grey matter knew what was going on except for that poor lass DIANA . There are far to many to list but here are a few Whilst he was on official duty handing back HONGKONG to the CHINESE that excuse for a woman was on the boat as was Charlie & Diana when the party was over he toodled to bed not Diana's , guess? There are numerous occasions back home when he would slink off , it's a well known fact ,to put it how i describe it is thus ( He was "at it " BEFORE DURING AND AFTER )" that is what drove Diana into the arms of other's because of the typical PHILANDERING that has been the norm since 1066 the royals of this country hold nothing special in life ,and never will ,as for the questioner he/she asked for people's views well these are mine ,Should there be any interest in the future ruling's of this great country i sincerley wish ,pray that the next King should be WILLIAM not the womaniser charly and his moll i cant bring myself to say her name . The future of the Labour party!Well (celtwitch) i don't know your age but i will assume your not that old, whilst i have to agree with part of your views i utterly believe that criticism like yours just helps to undermine the party and does it no favours at all. If you are a socialist you should realise that what you ought to be doing is to help your local party to try and get back to the basics of socialism, not just making glib comments. I particulary detest the leader corbin, but i have certainly not thrown in the towel ,in fact it has made me more determined to fight this fool and to attempt to rid him from the party as he is doing what you are implying in making a true people's party into a laughing stock. Which at this particular time in world and in Britains place we need a stronger LABOUR PARTY MORE THAN EVER! Finally if you can answer me this question , Who has helped the working class more since 1920 to date????ViewDate:

The future of the Labour party!I have just read the few comments on the Labour Party, It is very easy for us to sit in judgement and some say it's right that we can say what we like that is true democracy. But what i tend to find deplorable is when ordinary people go off on a tangent. The (celt) (lionel)(vlad) i do not particulary share your remarks for i have supported Labour most of my life but i do try hard to see all sides of the debate, argument before i make my decisions . As i say i strongly believe that had this country never had a Labour Party then all the things that the working class enjoy today as a right would in fact be a hell of a lot worse off. One does not need to go a great far back in times when there were no unions , just look at the working conditions , health and safety , most of all welfare of the people. I obviously need not remind you of the greatest institution of the world and also envied by so many our N.H.S. without doubt the best welfare care in the world when it was introduced by Labour in 1947. Along with nationalisation of all the countries major sercices, which today should be by the people, not the greedy ,money grabbing ,profiteer's ,i'm not sure silversurfer's lets one rant on in many words so i will bow out now but will partially agree with parts of your comments which are :Yes the Party is sadly imploding and i wil blame just one that is Corbyn, it is immaterial if he has backers and supporter's the facts are glaringly stark and plain , He is destroying the party ,he knows it ,he's not that stupid , and there are time 's when as they say one should fall on his sword in order to re-strengthen the party in it's fight against what we are seeing now with a the tory's leaning very far to the right, so ask for you to consider what Labour has done and given the chance what they can do .ViewDate:

Also does the word DEMOCRACY mean anything do they know what it stands for? I am old enough to remember the vote to join i did not want to join ,and almost everybody one would speak to said "i voted not to join" guess what we joined. Now the loser's that day did not go crying and ranting we want another vote ,second's please, no we were adults and were and still believe in democracy really thats all . But i will state this and i blame cameroon and his buddies for undermining the people by the way they never drew up a plan B,If they had of done perhaps things might not have been shall i say a bit hectic/tense / we now need to get ship shape invoke claus 50 and start the ball rolling .ViewDate:

Do you think we’re facing chaos now we’re leaving the EU?I voted to leave and i am still celebrating the fact that after a very long 40 years or so we can call ourselves british ( of which by the way i always have i have never been a european) back to the main point i too put the entire blame on this present gov and especially one D.Cameroon , the trouble was they never expected the out vote to win and by that they were contemptuous of the british electorate. Second having felt that they were obviously not going to have a plan B in place that again shows the arrogance of the conservatives. Had that been done we would not have had all this turmoil, finally, i am not sure with this comment " Cameroon did say he would stand at the next G/E not the brexit vote ????"
