Which do you miss not being open the most - your local pub or your hair salon?Neither, I take my G&T at home and my lovely wife has her glass of wine and cuts my hair...sorted! (But I do believe that my wife can't wait for her mobile hairdresser to start work again).ViewDate:

Are you happy to remain opted-in for organ donation?I have been a person of 'different ability' since birth but I have had a donor card for around 45+ years...(pregnant pause)...ironically it is nestled in my wallet next to my "In Case Of Emergency" card which lists all of my ailments if I ever have an accident or get shipped to hospital. I remain optomistic that there may be something that is useful to someone else in the unfortunate state of my demise. It is just nice to think that part of me was useful to someone, even if only for a short time.ViewDate:

Does the new 'Stay Alert' slogan convey a clear message?I believe that a lot of younger generation are not using enough common sense to be treated as adults... but where you have said that Boris and Co. need to send us clear and firm instructions I think that you need to send your message to them parsnip54 as this says it as it should be, ( "The message is clear. This virus is lethal and indiscriminate. We have to behave in a manner that is going to protect ourselves and loved ones and if that means the extension of this unpleasant but absolutely necessary lockdown then so be it." ) WELL DONE SIR!ViewDate:

Is it realistic to expect over 70s to remain in their homes for 4 months? There are so many 70 and over people that would not be able to cope with the loneliness let alone the self confinement discipline. This maybe a ploy by the Government to kill us all off . Lock them away for 4 months and we can just go along and clean up the mess.ViewDate:

Is it acceptable to share Irish jokes on St Patrick's Day?Oh I do so agree with you especially the danger of taking away people's right to having an opinion and the death of free speech. Also I have found that losing one's sense of humour and general laughter is also on the danger list. (From another Irish descendant).ViewDate:

Should we rule out imported chlorinated chicken from the USA?If you have ever eaten Chicken in the USA without all of the fried chicken spices or jerk spices added, it really does not taste like chicken (as we Brits know it) it has a bitter taste. I am against importing this rubbish and would even lead a campaign to support our British farmers. Signed: Concerned from SomersetViewDate:

Did Prince Andrew's Newsnight interview make his predicament better or worse?I do not believe that this interview did Prince Andrew any favours at all. For those saying that we are paying this idiot/fool etc, etc ... Andrew gets next to nothing for his PR duties, he has a private income and pensions ( Investor, Army officer, military personnel, Fighter pilot,) roughly half of their annual income is spent on official duties and travel, while a quarter goes to the tax man. The remaining £6.6 million ($8.9 million) goes to Charles' children, "non-official" purchases and a royal savings account. Some of the comments I have read previous to me writing this do not really do people's intelligence any justice either, there are a few bitter views. I notice how no one has mentioned the underage 17 year old girl drinking and partying in a high class nightclub (Tramps) and the fact she could have walked out of the same door she came in. Just thought I would put this in the mix.ViewDate:

Should playing tag in the playground be banned in Primary Schools? What is going on with the the school authorities now a days?... Yeah Tag, Kiss Chase, British Bulldog , all of these should be encouraged not banned. We may as well send our children to school in bubble wrap or equivalent ( bubble wrap is plastic... not PC ) I despair for my grandchildren who will not be aloud to play at all at this rate.ViewDate:
