How confident do you feel that the Government can deliver Brexit to the benefit of the country? We pay politicians to lead and advise for the good of the country. They are doing neither and are not even being held to account for blatant and repeated lies, especially concerning the referendum. It seems to me that the 1% with most money now pulls the strings of a large majority of politicians of both major parties in parliament.....and do so with a view to making themselves even richer and more powerful. So called 'brexit' is just a manifestation of this imbalance.ViewDate:

Should National Service be reintroduced in the UK?I can understand why it might be thought to give structure, discipline and comradeship to the young and disaffected. It certainly would. However, let's not forget this is 'military' service. Under the influence of warmongers and at the whim of politicians. The age of military service is just when our young are also so open to influence and propaganda of peers or state. Do we have trust in our politicians? Enough to trust the lives and the minds of our young? For me the answer is an emphatic and resounding 'no'.ViewDate:

How do you think the current obesity crisis should be handled? They already pay the government thro their taxes! So would you envisage acting punitively on all types of lifestyle choices? Not that obesity is automatically ax lifestyle choice. Shall we shame smokers, drinkers, those who have unprotected sex, chocoholics, any sports players who might be injured, motorcyclists, car drivers.......the list is endless.ViewDate:

How do you think the current obesity crisis should be handled? How about subsidising fresh fruit and veg for those on benefits. It's so hard to eat healthily AND frugally.ViewDate:

Should GP's be incentivised to diagnose Dementia?I agree wholeheartedly. There is no cure for dementia and getting the proper care is laughable. Care is grossly underfunded as it is. I can see no advantage to the patient of early diagnosis at all. They should put the money, not into GPs, but into much needed help especially for informal family carers involved with sufferers who exhibit antisocial behaviour or extreme anxiety, who slip thro the net of existing provision.
