Do you think Camilla should be crowned queen?I do feel she should be his queen, as a couple they are soooo good for each other, he deserves to be happy and rule with his queen at his side. They were forced to be apart from the very beginning, now they are together, please allow the country to have a very happy King and Queen for however short a period of time.ViewDate:

Finding the right senior chat room for youSorry Jayney25 didn't mean to go on...... I do understand really. I can't advise as I have a similar situation as far as verbally horrible comments but I haven't been stopped from seeing the children up to now. I do hope your daughter changes her mind. I live alone so can't share my sadness when she says hurtful things I do have a silent cry though.ViewDate:

Finding the right senior chat room for youI was very sad to read your words. I don't live close to my daughter and grandchildren (80 mile away) but I do travel fairly frequently to see them staying for a couple of nights, it used to be for longer but I am 72 this year and have started to find the journey by bus (1hr) then by train this varies between 3/4 to 1 hour+ depending on time of travelling. Then wait and hour to be picked up at station I get off at. Winter makes it tough because I'm often freezing cold and soaking wet when I eventually arrive. I tell you this because I've cut back on how often I go up there and have been met with upsetting comments about how "most grandparents" would want to spend as much time as possible with the grandchildren!! I've tried to explain because I don't drive, all my appts (hospital etc) that I have to keep, or shopping I travel on public transport so everything takes me longer, I need to come home after a couple of days. I do have the children come to stay with me for little breaks during the school hols which I loveViewDate:

Should Prince Charles step aside and allow Prince William to become the next King?I think Charles should become King when the time comes. Of course he has made mistakes just as we all have, in many ways he has paid the price. Unlike his sister and brothers he had many major decisions thrust upon him by people who made the mistake of choosing who he should marry, all though two lovely young men were the result! However, he and Diana did pay a very high price in their personal lives. We now have a happy and less tense man who stands alongside his mother the Queen and a strong and supportive wife of his own choice. I truly believe he will be an excellent Monarch paving the way for William once he too will be ready to take on the crown God Bless them.ViewDate:

Looking after a grandchildwhilst I think your partner might have at the very least told his daughter he would like to discuss these arrangements with you before agreeing to anything. I do at the same time feel his comments regarding helping his daughter to put her life in order but letting her know she will have to take responsibility for any alternative arrangements if you both are unable to for any reason are fair and reasonable. Regarding your concerns about being left holding the baby so to speak are understandable but surely the decorating, gardening etc are things the little one can 'help Grandad' with and become an enjoyable time for you all!? Hope you all reach a happy conclusion x
