Captnjack1395's bio
Joined the Royal Navy shortly after leaving school as a seaman qualified as a diver in the sixties spent the largest part of my naval service in the Far East , after leaving the RN I became a scientific officer within the Science Research Council .
After my daughter became physically disabled as the result of an operation that she had on her knee that turned out to be unnecessary, and resulted in her becoming a wheelchair user at the tender age of 16, I took early retirement to look after her on the Isle of Lewis . I spent the next 26 years on the island but my daughter who has a family of her own now mover to the Scottish Highlands in 2017 and l myself followed in July 2018, and now live in a small village around 5 miles from my daughter and her family which is good, I myself am now disabled and use a wheelchair part of the time according to the medics it’s early onset of osteoarthritis caused by my time as a diver.
But that’s life I would still do the same if I had my time over again,
I am a widower now having lost my second wife to a terminal illness in 2006, and I live alone again now. I enjoy reading, spending time and spoiling my gorgeous granddaughter who has been a big part of my life since she was born, l won’t bore you any more now.
