Should Dominic Cummings resign? Why should Dominic Cummings have special rights over and above all the residents of the UK? Hundreds of thousands of people are staying home, not making any "non essential" trips yet he is able to travel to Durham to be with his family. What about all the key workers, hospital staff and carers who are choosing to live away from their families to ensure they do not spread coronavirus should they contract it through their working with coronavirus infected patients? How many weeks has it been for them to not be with their families? What about families who are not allowed to visit their dying loved ones in hospital nor attend funerals? What makes this man so special? My husband and I have been living separately since 12 March because of lock down. We manage well thanks to social media - What'sApp, Messenger and emails. Again, what makes this man so special? Catherine Calderwood resigned over the 2nd home issue, Prof Neil Ferguson resigned for undermining lock down. Dominic Cummings do the decent thing and resign. For that matter: Boris himself should resign because he returned home to convalesce instead of returning to Downing Street. Rule for one when it should be rule for all regardless.ViewDate:

Is it ever OK to date a work colleague?Working for Personnel Director, I dated a member of the IT team who used to be sent by Help Desk to repair my computer. We've been married now for 24 years. My boss simply said "confidentiality" and read a poem at our wedding. Confidentiality has at all times been maintained as has my computer - now laptops.ViewDate:

Should over 70s be banned from voting on the country's future?Yes that's why 16 year olds were given the vote. I was earning my own living at age 16 (as no doubt were many people), paying taxes, board and saving too. Definitely mature enough to have a vote then as now aged 65.ViewDate:

Should over 70s be banned from voting on the country's future?I'd like to know why these young people thought "older" generation shouldn't be allowed to vote. Brexit no doubt plays a major part. I pay taxes and am involved in many contraversial issues such as protecting green belt, climate change and the environment. My right to vote is something I value and am frustrated when people do not vote. Scotland allows 16 year olds to vote for Scottish Parliament and local elections. Rest of UK should do the same. Voting should be compulsory too to ensure proper reflection of the people's choice. Issues such as Brexit may well have had different outcome if everyone had to vote.ViewDate:

Should smart motorways be scrapped? It's plainly obvious to regular users of motorways that the use of hard shoulders as extra lanes in peak times in far too dangerous. Nowhere to stop immediately/asap if someone is sick in the car or there are mechanical problems and emergency vehicles are not able to get through to accident or breakdown locations. Watching ambulances trying to get through a congested motorway when hard shoulder is in use, is frustrating and frightening. The controlled speed limits do have an effect and are very useful. No more smart motorways until the use of hard shoulder is removed. [What an ill thought out plan and total waste of millions of pounds.]ViewDate:

Should smart motorways be scrapped?Completely agree the M6 tollway should be more affordable - it would ease the congestion on M6 considerably and take away need for using hard shoulder as extra lane.
