Will you be sending Christmas cards this year?Think about the people employed in producing Christmas cards, the Artist, the the paper/card producer the printers the distributors, the shops and shop assistants. I am sure there are many more many cards benefit Charities so they benefit too. Many Charities nowadays want you to set up a direct debit which many of us cannot afford but we can afford to buy a pack of cards. I have cut down not due to postage but due to many who I used to send to are no longer with us.ViewDate:

Should historical statues remain in place?Right or wrong the statues are part of our history. Removing them will not change that history but plaques should be put up explaining properly who the people were and how they gained their money. Slavery happened and is still happening the best thing to do is to educate people that it was and is wrong. At the time these people held slaves it was not seen as wrong. Once they were better educated. this type of slavery stopped. Its a bit like when we were all persuaded to buy diesal cars and now we are told we are totally wrong for doing what we thought was ok.ViewDate:

Do you think we need tougher lockdown restrictions?Just watched yet another wishy washy gov't bulletin where the specific question was asked of how far you can go to exercise. apparently if you are on a bike it is a far as you want. But if you need a car to get to a park or other outdoor space you cannot do it, nor can you take your own drink. However there are still those peo9ple who think they are exempt from the rules.ViewDate:

Will you be joining in the Clap for Heroes on Thursday?Sorry but no, worked in the NHS at the front for 28 years so feel I am fully qualified to comment on why I will not be clapping. I do notice that it is not only me you disagree with but also that you are incredibly cruel to other commentators.ViewDate:

Will you be joining in the Clap for Heroes on Thursday?Sorry but no, when this first started it was brilliant and gave a sense of community and we are all in this together. Then it was taken over by the politicians who have been monumentally stupid in the way they have handled this pandemic here in this country, They have discounted scientific facts. They let London off the same lockdowns as the rest of the country resulting in an even more virulent strain. They are incompetent in the delivery of the vaccines contradicting how it should be delivered. If the people who developed it say 4 weeks between innoculations that is what it should be. Extending it to 12 weeks gives the virus chance to mutate and become immune to the vaccine. I feel so sorry for those people labouring in the Health service in what ever job. Please remember it is not just about Doctors and Nurses, they cannot Function without the many other jobs done in the NHS. I do hope that once this is all over that people will remember the workers in the NHS and attend or ring and cancel appointments, stop being abusive to NHS staff, stop abusing the NHS we are so lucky to have it and the danger is that more and more of it is being sold off behind closed doors to politicians friends and family.ViewDate:

Are we on a countdown to chaos? Are the majority of these people off work and being paid to stay at home to stop the virus spreading. I think they will be. You would never get this many people on a beach in the middle of the week normally. But seeing as the people giving the advice do not stick to it themselves can they expect the masses that are south of Watnall Gap to do the same. It makes me ashamed to be EnglishViewDate:
