Reebe's bio
Hi there, looking forward to chatting with new friends, to help carry me through yet another 6 months of restrictions. I'm mid sixties, still working part time, like keeping busy - walking, socialising with friends and family, cooking, crafting etc. I live with my cat, she's a great listener but certainly has attitude! -

Will you take the Covid-19 vaccine when you are offered it?Will definitely be happy to have this vaccination. Lockdown is beginning to really get to me, feel as those it will never end. So, bring on that vaccination, I'm ready and waiting.ViewDate:

Are you living with tougher lockdown measures at the moment?I live in the Wigan area and we are not now allowed to meet people from other households in or outdoors, unless we are in a bubble, i.e. sister who lives alone is in a bubble with her sister, husband and 2 boys - they are still allowed to meet.ViewDate:

Should there be an upper age limit to be a US Presidential candidate?I feel to take on such a position of responsibility should be age bound. Surely, it is recognisable that you are not as sharp at 70 as you were at 30/40. I feel 65 should be the cut off, in that way if elected, by time your term in office (4 or 5years) came to an end you would be, or approaching 70 years of age.ViewDate:

All new to thisGood morning, I am experiencing loneliness due to this confounded Pandemic. I live alone, split from my partner last year, I am mid 60s, still working part time. I try to stay positive but it is difficult sometimes, hence, I too am now reaching out to broaden my horizons and take up chatting over the airwaves. I love to get out for walks, also, messing about in the garden - I say that as I try but am not the best at it! Meeting up with friends/relatives lifts the spirits and helps me to keep abreast of what's happening locally and personally, it also allows me/us, the opportunity of trying to put the world to rights within our bubble!!. It is hard when your family are physically distant (as are mine), and so, it's even tougher now as these outings are curtailed, we are not allowed to meet up in each others homes/gardens presently due to newly imposed restrictions due to rise in infections in this area. Here's to a vaccine, a longed for saviour for so many people's mental health and wellbeing as well as their physical health.ViewDate:

A Single White FeatherYou have put into words, what I experience and glean comfort from, each time a simple white feather crosses my path, thank you.ViewDate:

Would you be happy to have a drive-through flu jab this year?Drive through or walk through (appropriately geared up) would be a time saver and a way of getting more people vaccinated I presume? A good number have now experienced telephone or video consultations over the last months, who'd have thought that was on the cards at the beginning of the year. -
