Would you move to be closer to grandchildren?Did it moved before my eldest grandchild was born, have loved the time spent with them but it put a strain on my relationship with my daughter, would I do it again, I don't think so, hindsight is a wonderful thing, Hahaha.ViewDate:

Is 16 too young to join the Army?Unfortunately we need some form of discipline in this country, thanks to the do-gooder's we are in a position that even a child as young as 4-5 is telling a teacher in school, (you can't do that, your not aloud) they are already primed before they start & those children's parent's are the one's who if called by the school over an incident say the school can sort it out, they haven't got the time or inclination to do so. This is the reason something has to be do, these children will be running the country & voting one day (or not). It would I hope also bring together the different cultures & make us all British.ViewDate:

Should we have a second EU referendum?I voted 2 stay, that was then, the country decided 2 go, that is that, if people feel they made a mistake voting 2 go, well it's 2 late, u don't go back on a democratic vote, not if u want the world 2 take u serious .ViewDate:

Are ‘non-competitive sports days’ really better for school children?Sports day yesterday, my grandson of 7yrs won all his races bar one the marathon, he lost this because his friend fell so he went back to help, he is competitive but also knows how to be kind, this is a far more important a lesson to be taught.ViewDate:

Should the State Pension be means tested?I agree with other comments fully but would like to add a few other suggestion, isn't it time some amount was paid for prescriptions & that child benefit was reduced i.e. nothing for the first child, payment for the second and nothing for any subsequent children as they are a life style chose, this would free up money for higher pensions, as with all things those in need would have the welfare state to fall back on.ViewDate:

Should Nigel Farage be ennobled in the House of Lords?Am I wrong in thinking UKIP is of the people & for the people, well surely to be made a Lord would be against there principals, as I say could be wrong.ViewDate:

Should the FA defy the poppy ban? This is not a Political, Religious or Commercial statement, this a thank you to those who died for our freedom of speech. Less we forget!!! To the over-paid employees of FIFA & the FA get your own house in order first.ViewDate:

Would you be willing to pay more for milk? The supermarkets use milk as a loss leader thats OK so long as the farming community is not expected to cover this, I know more milk is produced at this time of year due to the abundance of fresh grass and this forces the price down in the summer but when the supermarkets can sell it for 89p for 2lts and they and the middle man have made money on it there is not a lot left for the farmers , who have the highest cost. A heifer takes 2yrs keep till she first produces milk. This is dead money if she dies during calving, gets mastitis or just turns out to not produce milk of any quantity, the farmers lost, part of the farming way of life, the middle man & supermarkets just have profits.ViewDate:

The battle of the supermarketsLidi may have a basic range but this is growing every week, there prices are low which is obviously at this time appreciated by most people, I go to Asda about once every two months to top up on items not available at lidi's, this suits my needs.
