Please Don't Give Up On MeThankyou so much Maxine for your kind words. We are coping ok and have good support from several agencies. Our dear mother had vascular dementia and we looked after her for about 9 years. It's so important I think to seek as much help as you can get and as much for us caring for our loved ones. xViewDate:

Please Don't Give Up On MeMy dear sister has this awful disease. She is only 66 and has been over the last few years really struggling with her diagnosis. Your words, sad but true, hopefully will help many family and friends understand that our loved ones need us so much more, to NEVER give up on them.ViewDate:

Would you support the MPs call for over 40s to pay a social care premium?ElainePeony We will be paying for our Social care ? with the sale of our house and cash that we have managed to save. We are not expecting any help until our monies have run dry, only then, if we are still alive, will we be hoping that it will be our turn to benefit a little from the state.ViewDate:

Would you support the MPs call for over 40s to pay a social care premium? No way should we have to pay any more once we have retired. I started work in 1966 apart from having my son in the 80s, back to work when he was two, I have always worked, full time, until I was (allowed) to retire when I was 62, 9months. I am still paying tax on my pension, which I really don't mind doing, but a big fat NO, to anymore.ViewDate:

He's Just An Old Stray That Santa ForgotA beautiful poem! I have a friend in Canada who so loves our furry friends and helps the strays with food and bedding, she takes them in if she can, or finds them forever homes within her community. Could I send her this poem please, she would just love it! ☺
