Kes's bio
I love to write the odd poem when inspired by some event or happening in my own life or that of my family and friends. I usually just write poems for my own pleasure, but I have enjoyed sharing a few of my efforts on Silversurfers and have received some wonderful comments from the community. I enjoy watching Rugby Union. I call myself a 'Hobby Colourist' and enjoy the work of the inky black and white artist Johanna Basford, and I also dabble in photography, in a very amature pastime kind of way. -

A Plea for NatureExcellent poem. I fear we will never be free of the litter vandals and fly-tipping criminals who plague our country.ViewDate:

Do you think money skills should be taught in school?I answered ‘yes’. I started to learn about money in my primary school. That was at the time when we had a school bank, Someone from the local bank came into school regularly, and we could open a bank account and pay in, and learn how banks worked. I don’t suppose this happens these days. I think responsibility for this learning should begin at home. My parents helped me to understand about money, finance and commerce and it gave me a good grounding for life.ViewDate:

On AgeingGood poem Sue. That’s quite a list. I feel some of it, but thankfully not all, yet. Oldies unite and smile, that’s what I say.ViewDate:
