Should the relaxation of the rules over Christmas be cancelled?Interesting to watch TV interviews with people walking the high streets and their remarks to camera. It seems that many will regard Bojo and M.H., as soothsayers, predictors, dabblers in Necromancy and blame the government for the Covid epidemic and not being able to answer........" When will it end " ?? Covid is a tricky one and can change itself at will, it knows no barriers, and no one { not even Bojo or M.H. will be able to foresee the future. Maybe Nostradamus will ?ViewDate:

As Joe Wicks admits feeling low, these resources can help if you need a chatA lot of the symptoms mentioned above could be helped by using a SAD Therapy lamp. These are available around £80 with timers. Please do not dismiss as mumbo jumbo as this kind of treatment could work for you.ViewDate:

Do you think we need tougher lockdown restrictions?Quite agree with you. I sometimes wonder how these large football clubs winge so much about their lost revenue, when the wealthy owners can pay so much to their " players ". Presumably they are upset that the TV companies are not paying out for non appearances.ViewDate:

What is the future of travel in 2021?Not so sure Wilf. Just seen info from a car insurance company involving the issue of green cards, and not wishing to add to misery, it gives at least a lead time required for an issue as 4weeks. Knowing M. Macron, he will of course make sure that maximum disruption ensues to "le rostbif " who had the temerity to want to leave the EEC.ViewDate:

What is the future of travel in 2021?Now that the EEC have shown their true colours, it will be interesting to see if their aggression and deliberate procrastination stance towards the UK will result in a large number taking their holidays in more friendly countries which are outside the EEC.ViewDate:

Are you happy to have your second jab delayed?Do we feel that having just 60% coverage for the first jab, will be sufficient to stop the spread of Covid ?? There is some concern over when the second dose can be administered, to give full coverage.ViewDate:

Do you think we need tougher lockdown restrictions? The reason these bulletins appear to be "wishy washy " is that this government is trying to appease all shades of the spectrum to include Extinction, Freedom Fighters and others. This follows that things will never change.ViewDate:

Do you think we need tougher lockdown restrictions? The government in Singapore seems to have got things right and have put the lid on Covid. I do realise that the inhabitants are more law abiding than in the west , however they took stern measures early on, which would if applied to this country would produce buckets of protest from the "freedom fighters" in the UK. This government has tried [ without sucess ] to appease all shades including anarchist groups and others [ unable to mention by name or Mdm editor will censor ] who we all know of. Unless really strong penalties are applied to these law breakers then nothing will ever change.ViewDate:

Will you be joining in the Clap for Heroes on Thursday?Unfortunately here in the UK, because Nursing Staff quite often will say that " they don't do the job for the money " , politicians seem to think that they are then able to save " a penny or two " by not paying the NHS front line staff etc., a proper living wage commensurate with the work they are expected to carry out. Once again politicians of both parties, instead of just clapping can think themselves lucky to have a workforce, being underpaid, but still staying true to their principles. Sorry CiaoP, but this is not a health issue as you suggest but has become a political one as MP's seem to think that by just joining in with the clapping, this absolves them from addressing the issue of proper remuneration.ViewDate:

With the vaccination programme under way, how likely are you to book a holiday this year?We are being told that we are short on vitamin D because of shortage of sunshine in this country. So either take vit supplements or get abroad for some sunshine. Which do you prefer ???ViewDate:

Will you be joining in the Clap for Heroes on Thursday?Perhaps suspend the "foreign aid " programme for 6 months, and use that money to give all NHS workers a worthwhile bonus to show this government 's appreciation of their work. And make it tax free as well !!ViewDate:

David Attenborough says 2021 could be year for ‘positive change’Greta and David do a great job of making people more awareof our miss doings in the western world. However the country which contaminates more than any other at the present time would not allow this kind of thought from G or D to enter their country , but would be immediately arrested for insurrection, and perhaps even disappear.ViewDate:

Gordon Ramsay leads tributes to culinary ‘legend’ Albert RouxWe are still waiting for their font of knowledge to trickle down to the far corners of the Uk.[ still cooking on a shovel over some logs in this area]. Both he and his brother were true icons of the restaurant trade and their skills in traditional cooking will be difficult to replace. Luckily they have left a range of books which will help some of to-days crispy fryers.ViewDate:

Is foreign aid better spent at home?Just to put your remarks into context , the level of individual indebtedness is the highest in Europe at the present time. The poor, as you suggest are in fact in hoc to the credit card companies and the Banks.to pay for the accessories you have mentioned. The danger for these people is that if the CC companies and Banks called in those loans, then things would be very different.ViewDate:

Is foreign aid better spent at home?I seem to remember approx 25 years ago an interesting film was shown on the TV showing water kits with sterilizing facilities built in, being manufactured here in East Anglia, which was part of Water aid for Africa. At the time it was stated that there were to be enough kits produced to stop dirty water in Africa for good. After this there was silence, then recently there had been a distribution problem caused amongst other things by tribal inter waring. Perhaps the situation will still be the same in another 25 years or so.ViewDate:
