RetirementI would suggest keep working. Find something enjoy doing and earn a little money from it. Don't work as many hours as you used to but find something to fill the gap. Gradually do a bit less over time until you just do it for a bit of fun or an outlet. When my father retired he found the biggest loss was the social side of work. He went from a n office with plenty of colleagues to talk to sitting at home on his own. He filled it in firstly by doing school crossing patrol and secondly by just meeting "new friends" in his local cafe. He now goes down every day to meet up, he just celebrated his 80th birthday last week.ViewDate:

Black Friday - I've had enough! Its an absolute con. Invented to shift stock and extend the christmas shopping period. As as nearly all the businesses do most of their trade each year in December they will try anything to drum up trade at other times.ViewDate:

Gluten FreeAlthough I don't need gluten free food we have a relative that does. I came across tiger nuts recently and they can come ground as a flour. Has anybody tried using it in baking? Link here to product http://bit.ly/2fgo40yTNut. There is also a recipe book.ViewDate:

Career advice for over 50s please?I would suggest working for yourself. I am a distributor with an eco-friendly online shopping company. You are your own boss, work when you want and in my case in a rewarding industry. There are lots of these types of companies about and if you put in the effort you can get a very decent income in the short and long term, especially good for that future retirement plan! Let me know if you want any more advice. ken
