Should there be an age cap for monarchs? The question raised is “should there be an age cap”? I voted “No” because some monarchs will be more capable than others in old age. If a monarch is no longer able to fulfil the public duties required of such office, or wishes to retire then he or she should abdicate. That need not be compulsory on attaining a certain age.ViewDate:

Do you bank online?Yes! I am concerned about “on line banking” but, since my bank has closed all local branches so that the nearest is 25 miles away, there is little alternative other than use it! Interestingly, a charity which I support found one morning last year that its bank account “was to close” since that interest bearing current account was now regarded as a “ legacy account”, and when the cheques have all been used, the account will close! Setting up a new current account has taken 6 months of bureaucratic nightmare! I keep only a minimal balance in my regular current, and I have a current account with another bank as a reserve account in case I am “ debanked”! It would be an interesting demonstration of discontent with Banks if a “ mass withdrawal” could be arranged by savers on a given date at a given time! Perhaps such a salutary example of “customer power” is required to correct the direction of travel?ViewDate:

Ginge and whingeSeems like Harry might be eyeing up a return to U.K. to engage in Royal duties because of the Kings troubles and absence of Kate. Doubt if he would be welcome. If he came anywhere near me, I would tell him so!ViewDate:

Would you be happy to be weighed before boarding a flight?Obviously more fuel is required to carry heavier weights. So, have “basic weight” for men and a “basic weight” for women for a budget price. Then add a surcharge per kilo for each passenger over the basic weight.ViewDate:

Would you like to see a debate happen about the monarchy? There will be a fundamental change when Queen Elizabeth passes. It is reported that Charles intends to reduce the number of working Royals. What sustains the Monarchy these days? Pomp and tradition? Certainly supported by those whose position in society depends upon it. But as deference withers….there is some work to be done if deference is to be replaced by respect. Entitlement and/or inheritance do not earn respect in my book!ViewDate:

Should Strictly introduce same-sex couples?I wonder what proportion of the population is comprised of "same sex couples"? I might suggest 1% or less? The publicity that they generate and receive is "way out" and far in excess of their relevance to every day life issues. What about disabled on Strictly...wheel chair Tango would be good?... and far more relevant in terms of "proportion"?ViewDate:

Should we have a second EU referendum? The answer to each question is...Yes! But, ineffective. It is like voting in your living room to join the local tennis club. No use at all unless the tennis club is willing to entertain your application, and then you might be horrified at the "joining fee and the annual subscription"!ViewDate:

Should we have a second EU referendum? We have had the referendum. OK, it was badly botched with duff info on both sides, but a second referendum would be just as bad if not worse! Certainly, Eu would demand concessions if Article 50 is withdrawn....absolute disaster! Democracy is at stake, go with the decision made or " all bets are off"!
