bernie55 showcase imageMorning Sally. I have just returned from a wonderful three week tour of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. I think this was the usual Asian style of advertising wedding locations for glossy magazines and not the actual ceremony as I have seen similar before in China and Japan. Further travels on hold as I might need a possible knee replacement for osteoarthritis, consultant appointment in a few weeks.ViewDate:

bernie55 showcase imageThank you Sue. I submitted this photo yesterday at the start of Mondays ‘Bloomingmarvellous’ competition but it was not acknowledged by Silversurfers admin as others were around mine at the same time hence me resubmitting back into the Showcase gallery.☹️ViewDate:

bernie55 showcase imageThank you Sue. I have a tiny 4’ by 2’ pond on my allotment hence the appropriate sized Dwarf Water Lily. It was closed at 10am on Sunday when I arrived and suddenly opened fully at noon when I wasn’t looking!ViewDate:

BernadetteM72 showcase imageThank you Wilf. This is my third submission of the same photo since last month to get it noticed. I eventually travelled to Japan at Easter which was my fourth attempt due to the Covid lockdowns. I had hoped to capture the Cherry Blossom out there and although most of it had gone over I was fortunate to come across this beautiful setting with the classic Japanese red bridge.ViewDate:

bernie55 showcase imageThanks Wilf. It was submitted for the ‘PhotoFriday’ competition early yesterday on the theme ‘Blue’ but was unfortunately missed by admin hence my second attempt at a possible viewing as it was a very difficult shot to get in clear focus.ViewDate:

bernie55 showcase imageThanks Sue. I heard the Robin singing and then spotted him amongst the ivy on the tree hence photo is a bit dark and use of a long lens as had to stay on the boardwalk because the ground was too marshy to walk on.ViewDate:

bernie55 showcase imageThank you Sue. This Verbascum is seven foot tall on my allotment and I nearly cut it down this week until I saw all the bees on it, I returned today with my proper camera, not an easy shot as they kept flying around.ViewDate:

bernie55 showcase imageThank you Wilf. This was taken March 2020 but only now have submitted it publicly including yesterday on ‘PhotoFriday’ but it didn’t win. Harvest mice are extremely difficult to photograph and to get a reflection was a bonus. I added my Copyright as it’s one of my best ever photos.ViewDate:
