Win a Dream Getaway to Madeira! What a great prize. I love Madeira but regretfully fuel and cost of living prices have made holidays non viable for a time! Maybe next year...ViewDate:

Would you be happy with a driving curfew over the age of 70?The bland, dismissive rather petulant generalisation, "that many elderly drivers tend to stick to their local areas anyway when driving", quoted by Mr Edward Trewhella, chief executive of Driving Mobility, in your article surprised me. This type of comment can usually be expected from people who are generally under the age of 30 who haven't yet understood that, with luck, they may one day become over seventy, and maybe in need of visiting an even older relative who is in a home over 30 miles away, so I was surprised to find that he was born in 1956. Perhaps he is a non driver, or can afford a chauffeur?ViewDate:

Should disposable barbecues be banned?A method to stop ignorant people causing destruction and leaving their discarded debris about? Education won’t help! Threats will be understood! A suggested beginning. Make them think of the consequences to THEM! A software program needs to be written... IT IS WORTH THE PRICE AND SMALL EFFORT. Then, before a purchase of these products is completed an agreement should also be completed. This could be done on the purchaser’s mobile by a quick scan and reference code. Numbered operating and safety instructions should be clicked on to agree to abide by under strict penalties ranging from substantial fines to imprisonment. Regardless of the extra cost entailed - the item being purchased should have a traceable chip installed which would need to be clicked on when and where the object is discarded safely. The sale should not be completed until this is agreed by clicking OK!ViewDate:

Should over 70s be banned from voting on the country's future?Yes young people. Even though we wish you the best and most wonderful lives possible as you are now our future, ban us older people who have learnt the ways of the world by bitter experience. It will be hard for us though to spend the remainder of our days watching you take the consequences of your mistakes… sometimes parents really do know best…ViewDate:

Do you support Boris's decision to suspend Parliament?I'm just an ordinary open minded somewhat old person who wants to see the very best for our great country so no, haven't a clue without checking the web. But there are plenty of real (not politicians) experts who can answer your question and also find a multitude of good clean high quality products to replace anything we cease to use from the EU. Remember, leaving the EU does not mean we instantly have to stop trading with them, trade will simply be on world trade terms. Also they can't afford to lose our business so will wish to continue trading with us. What Brexit actually means is that we will at last as a nation be free (wonderful word) to chose exactly where we trade and who we trade with without any restrictions or Interference from foreign politicians or courts who appear to crave total power . Wonderful!ViewDate:

Do you support Boris's decision to suspend Parliament?MPs have had over 3 years to urgently debate Brexit and have done everything in their power not to honour the results of the referendum. They have nothing to complain about except their own incredible deceitfulness. It's time to get the job finished now and leave come what may on October 31st. There is a whole world of wonderful opportunities out there just waiting for us to collect. Well done Boris.
