Should Theresa May Resign or Remain?I was surprised that she felt safe with the firemen after the cuts they've had to endure.ViewDate:

Has Theresa May's power evaporated?I think you'll find he strongly opposed any involvement in the Iraq war and I don't believe he has ever supported terrorism of any kind. He has always been against the use of force to solve problems and seeks to find a peaceful settlement.ViewDate:

Should Theresa May Resign or Remain? As Andi White has so eloquently written on Facebook and has given me permission to use: "Jeremy Corbyn has ignited large parts of the country's imagination for a reason, he stands for something.. He doesn't reek of self interest or lean with whichever way the media wind blows, in order to win votes.. He stands for principled politics where his main concern is the welfare of the vast majority and the services they rely on, instead of pandering to the minority who can frankly look after themselves... If he does eventually become Prime Minister he won't bankrupt the country, turn us into a communist state, give a load of money to free loaders or any other nonsense pedalled by the right, he'll bring about investment into public services, reformed taxation (where someone like me will likely pay more, which I'm OK with in order to help others), stem and reverse privatisation (where it has got out of hand), build homes and make existing homes more affordable by bringing down house prices (I'm a homeowner, I'm OK with that, because the country needs it to happen) and increase the demand of the private sector to invest in the country through higher corporation tax... Sign me up ten times over... The man isn't just a breath of fresh air, he's like breathing a mountain breeze after living on sulphur fumes your entire life!"ViewDate:

Should Theresa May Resign or Remain?Suggested (Google) research: who are the happiest people in Europe? According to the Telegraph it is the Danes. "Researchers believe Denmark’s strong welfare state, along with the perspective afforded by life experience are behind Danish pensioners’ contentment. High income levels and supportive personal relationships are also at the heart of life satisfaction, the study found." Yes they pay for it in taxes but they also have one of the smallest differentials between the people with the highest purchasing power and those with the least purchasing power, less than Germany, France, Belgium and way, way, way less than the UK where the differential is the highest in Europe.ViewDate:

Has Theresa May's power evaporated? All the things you mention about Labour were Blairite policies. The whole point of Corbyn is that he is not Blair. He is not Margaret Thatchers greatest achievement. He is a true advocate of social justice.ViewDate:

Should Theresa May Resign or Remain?Yes. I've thought that too. That we might be better off with her in place, rather than having to fight Boris or worse in the next election in a few weeks time.ViewDate:

Should Theresa May Resign or Remain?I still want answers on why we are fighting covert wars in 7 countries? Can you name them? Why our secret services are recruiting fighters to fight in Lybia who then get radicalised by Isis and are then let back into the UK on her watch, despite all the warnings. Manchester and London victim's families deserve answers but every time a debate goes anywhere near this issue it is rapidly closed down by Amber Rudd and the BBC.ViewDate:

Should Theresa May Resign or Remain?Totally agree. Lots of older people have an aversion to Facebook so we need to politely and firmly put the case forward in places like this. Remind them that we are facing a generation of youngsters who are going to be poorer than we are and have less public services than we had without the financial wherewithal to pay to go private.ViewDate:

Should Theresa May Resign or Remain?I've backed Corbyn since he first stood for the leadership election. He's the first politician I have seen in my lifetime that is principled, thoughtful and statesmanlike with a good grasp of all the issues. His policies would do a lot to rebalance our system which has, since Thatcher, been increasingly rigged to benefit the millionaire elite and their friends at the expense of ordinary hard working people. The Labour policies are not extreme - they are middle of the road for most European countries. It is our system that has become so far skewed to the right but we don't even realise it. Continuing with Tory policies will only serve to enrich the millionaire elite even more and will result in the collapse of our public services. We are in danger of creating a country, where for the first time ever, our children and their children are poorer than our generation, not just in financial terms but also in terms of the public services that are available to them.
