Marjorie Bargery  told me last  night
if  I  wanted to kiss  her, then I’d  have to write
A  legalised  letter  saying  that  I
Would  hold  pure  intentions ’til the day that I die

That  I’d  have  to  sign  a  contract  to  say
That  My money was  Hers, until her dying day.
And  to  confirm  that  she  had  the  right
To charge me for favours each Saturday night.

Well, I was well smitten, but not too much to see
Margery taking advantage of me.
BUT… I was Head  over Heels and agreed in the end
If she’d just call me her only boyfriend.

Just then the bell rang, and the teacher came out
Saying  ‘Playtime is over, please  don’t hang about’
But  I’ll see  her later, outside the School gate
She’s Six and a Half, and I’m nearly Eight.
