Each year, The Gambia Experience like to recognise their top performing hotels for their continued commitment through their prestigious Hotel Awards. These awards are there to acknowledge and commend those Gambian properties which offer the best customer service and as a result receive stellar feedback from their customers. 

The Gambia is a small, sub-tropical, West African Country, which boasts everything from exotic wildlife and beautiful beaches, to intriguing history and friendly people. With feedback sourced from a number of locations, including Feefo – the leading independent review company – and The Gambia Experience’s own holiday questionnaires, the awards up for grabs were as follows: Outstanding Customer Feedback, Excellent Customer Feedback and Best Customer Service.

Outstanding Customer Feedback

We are delighted to see that Ngala Lodge in The Gambia received the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Customer Service for the third year running.

Boutique, adult-only Ngala Lodge boasts impressive individuality and offers a truly unique experience. Along with its stunning views over a quiet and scenic cove, Ngala Lodge has gained a reputation of excellent standards and service. The tropical gardens are a lovely place to soak up the African sun, with an infinity pool that seems to merge with the ocean – it is impossible not to fall in love with this oasis of serenity.

Other 2019 winners of this category were Leo’s Beach Hotel, Mandina Lodges, Ocean Bay Hotel, Sunbeach Hotel and the Chimp Rehabilitations Project in The Gambia, with Fathala Wildlife Reserve and Esperanto Lodge taking the award in Senegal.
