You could leave a legacy of love

Leaving a gift to Born Free in your Will is a fantastic way to support the conservation of endangered wildlife and rescue wild animals in need.

An incredible one third of this renowned, international wildlife charity’s projects are funded thanks to generous gifts in Wills.

“Compassion is at the heart of everything we do and at the heart of any gift we receive in legacy. We pledge we will honour that precious gift and continue to strive to make the world a better place for wildlife. Please consider leaving a gift in your Will to Born Free, today. Together, we will save species and individual animals, and protect wildlife into the next generation and beyond. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Last year, a mighty 11-year-old lion called Moja was caught in a wire snare, set illegally to trap wildlife in Meru National Park in Kenya. His injuries were horrific but, with the help of a kind legacy, Born Free is able to fund a life-saving team in Kenya. Moja was saved from an agonising, drawn-out death and the work continues to remove deadly snares.

Meanwhile Sandro, a beautiful 16-year-old tiger, lived in a shocking, barren cage in a rundown zoo in Spain. But, with the help of a legacy, Born Free brought him to a tranquil sanctuary in Italy and the zoo closed. Today, surrounded by birdsong, Sandro can take a dip in his pool, saunter across the grass and patrol through the trees. What a contrast to his former life.

You too can leave a legacy of love! With a gift in your Will, you could help rescue other animals like Sandro, and secure a long-term future for lions and other rare species.
